Proof of Identity - Each applicant & their spouse is required to supply
Australian Citizens - an Australian Birth Certificate OR a Australian Passport OR Australian Citizenship Certificate
Applicants born outside Australia - an Australian Citizenship Certificate OR documentary evidence of Permanent Residency
Proof of Name Change and/or Marital Status - Provide a certified copy of the below if you are:
Married - your marriage certificate
Divorced - your divorce certificate
Widowed - death certificate of your spouse
Separated - a statutory declaration
Evidence of Eligible Transaction - Provide certified copies for one of the 3 types of transactions:
Transaction Type 1: Contract to Purchase a new or established home
Contract of Sale, dated and signed by the vendor and purchaser (including any Special Conditions or Annexures); and
Registration Confirmation Statement or Current Title search
Where there is no contract, or the sale of the property is between family members or related persons:
Stamped transfer; and Registration Confirmation Statement or Current Title search showing the applicant(s) as the registered owner for the home; and evidence showing that consideration has been paid by the applicants and received by the vendors
Transaction Type 2: Contract to Build a Home
Contract to Build, dated and signed by all parties AND Registration Confirmation Statement or current title search showing the applicant(s) as the registered owner(s) of the land on which the home is built; AND final inspection report
Transaction Type 3: Owner Builders
Registration Confirmation Statement or current title search showing the applicant(s) as the registered proprietor(s) of the and on which the home is built AND first inspection report for the laying of foundations issued by Council or a Private Certifier AND final inspection report AND receipts for the home which must total $7,000 or more
* Certified Copies - A copy of an original that has been sighted by an authorised person and who has noted on the copy that is a true copy of the original which has been produced and shown to the person certifying. An authorised person includes: A member of the police force, a councilor of a municipality, a medical practitioner, a dentist, a veterinary practitioner, a pharmacist, a minister of religion, a legal practitioner, a school principal or an accountant.
